Nike Air Force One

Although I'm not a Nike fan, one of my favorite sneakers is the Air Force One. It  has often been described as the greatest and most influential sneaker of all time. First released in 1982, the AF1 was dreamed up by Nike great Bruce Kilgore. Named after the airplane that transported then-president Ronald Reagan, it was the first basketball shoe to contain Nike Air technology in the sole. The original, a white and grey test prototype, featured a high-top silhouette, an ankle strap and a concentric-circle tread pattern on the outsole.
